And he would obviously have to sneak her into his bedroom at some point...
This morning I put on eyeshadow and mascara before I remembered to put my contacts in.  Monday!

Reread nhpw  's "Writing Letters to Girls" series this weekend, and was struck by a thought.  Poor teenage and young adult John Sheridan, such a romantic, writing these letters to these girls he falls head over heels for, only to have his heart broken.  I was thinking, I wish he could write these letters to someone who was going to love him back.  I mean, obviously Anna comes next, but by then John will be an actual, complete adult, and not an adorable teenager.  Who could adorable teenage John write letters to who would write equally loving letters back?

Delenn, obviously.  Adorable teenage Delenn.

And then I spent way too much time yesterday in the times when I usually work out other writering things - doing dishes, in the shower, taking a walk - not thinking about actual writering things but instead thinking about a ridiculously AU world where tiny adorable teenage Delenn ends up as an exchange student at John's high school and they have tiny adorable teenage flirtations and he gives her his class ring and they have to sneak around behind the backs of her host family, etc.

???

This is a great idea!

Interesting idea, but don't you have other series to finish first?

Sorry, I just don't care for AUs.

Of course, all of this is contingent on me figuring out a plot, since right now I'm mostly only thinking about tiny adorable teenage John/Delenn kissyface.

I have to say, I was afraid writing fanfic would distract me from my screenplays and such, but it's done the opposite; once I start writing and getting into that mode, then I end up staying in that mode. I finished my half of the pilot yesterday! I wrote for five straight hours! So yeah, anything to keep me feeling creative and writer-y is a good thing.
