Olivia Dunham is a BAMF.
Two Olivia picspams for fringeverse.  Nothing spoilery, I think, unless you're a complete 'phobe.

So glad you posted them!

The first one is awesome, that was when she started to majorly kick ass. I can't believe there was a time I didn't love her this much! Really like the coloring and effects on that one, it definitely fits well with the scenes.

The second one, so pretty. Love the big cap of her eyes. That was really a great scene; I almost did that one myself but I couldn't figure out which caps to use. You did it wonderfully though.

The first one was when I finally said, I love Olivia. Because I hadn't really warmed up to her at first. But then here comes this episode where she's kidnapped, and the set-up was so obvious: she'll be in danger all hour and Walter and Peter will have to do all kinds of mad science stuff to figure out where she is and they'll finally rescue her in the nick of time at the end of the hour.

And then she rescued herself before the end of the teaser. It's also when I fell in love (instead of just liking and enjoying) the show.

I kinda think I went too texture/light happy on the top one. I get a kick out of using caps of Fringe lens flares as a light texture on Fringe graphics, IDK.

Oh! I am working on icons for my Big Bang, and I'm going through the texture folder you sent me. There is so much stuff in there! I played with the same icon for about an hour yesterday, because I just kept putting new textures on it, LOL.

I sort of remember watching that first one initially. I didn't really think about what would happen, but I definitely didn't expect her to kick everyone's ass, be awesome and realistic about it, before the credits! And then never stop being awesome. So yeah, once I saw that episode, I definitely took notice. And I'm so glad the show is keeping up her personality pretty well. I was (and still am sorta) so afraid they would tone her down somehow in the new season, but they haven't yet.

I think the flares and textures look good on that one though personally. You do it well, and make it sort of match the feel and emotion of the scene!

I'm glad you are getting use out of the (badly organized) textures folder! I feel pretty much the same way about the ones you shared too, there's so many I'm just dying to use and so I go through tons of them just on one icon alone!

You are making me kick myself for giving up on this show a third of the way through first season. I think I'm going to have to catch up. But when?! I watch too much TV as it is.

Also, ever since Alias, I have been afraid to watch anything associated with J.J. Abrams, so I am hesitant.

OMG, you totally gave up like four episodes before it really started figuring out what kind of show it was and got super-awesome. Definitely give it another chance. Also, JJ doesn't have much to do with it at all; I don't think he's involved with the day-to-day writing in the slightest at this point. He's still credited as the main EP, but he's not one of the actual showrunners anymore.
